climberdude Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 I have installed MBM 5 because my computer has been crashing when i play games. I wanted to monitor the temp. When i started up my computer, i checked the bios temp reading, it said 41C. I started windows, and now MBM 5 says 121C!!!!! What is going on? gunak87 Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Maybe is somehow switched to Farenheit?
DarkScorpion Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 121 would probably kill your processor on the spot, I'm pretty sure about that. As for as gaming, are you overclocked? We need some system specs man....
fire_storm Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 Did you make sure you selected the right motherboard when setting up mbm5?

Nerm Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 lol, if that was your true temp in *C then your computer would not conitnue to run. Re-install MBM 5 and make sure you select the right mobo. Also, if you want accurate temps don't even mess with MBM5 or any software based temp monitor. Use a temp probe for accurate temps.
