gunak87 Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 I'll list some things. Some may seem stupid, please don't take offense. We've all made little stupid mistakes. Waterblock steated incorrectly Thermal paste applied incorrectly (also may need time to cure) did you put a fan on the radiator? how much air does it move? is it about an inch away from the rad to get the air to move? what type of fluid did you use? distilled water? did you add anything to it? maybe you used the wrong ratio. any kinks in the tubing? Bubbles? weak pump? Other members may add more.

I'm using the Antec Super Lanboy case. BTW. These is no kinks or air in the tubes. I'll re seating the CPU block to see if that was the problem. Well brb. gunak87 Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 yes artic silver 5 ALOT about probably 3.5 grams. 482717[/snapback] It's very possible to use too much, you only want it paper thin. Just enough to fill in any scratches or gaps.
