apostolics Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 to all users that claim they only get online once in a while try this. install our client then change the folding folder name to some thing like "folding@home123" then reinstall run the client once you download the wu quit the program then switch back to the program files and switch back the folder names then restart client when you are done with the work unit switch back. when both folders are complete the go online and upload results . this will allow you a bigger space of time to work with out the internet Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nemo Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 First of all, using that method to double up on work units hurts the research as it delays the returning of completed work units. If you are going to do this, please specify timeless work units during the configuration process. Also, once you have specified timeless work units, you can them specify getting work units in batches.
