twang^ Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 I am looking to overclock my Intel Pentium 3.6Ghz w/HT 800FSB and my Sapphire x800 PRO I got a few months ago. I was just wondering how you guys would go about this.. There is this 'redline' program that came with the card, and I am just wondering if I should use this, or something else. And to what extent? How much until its too much? And what program should I use to oc the pentium chip? Thanks all.
cchalogamer Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 ATI tool for the x800 and your motherboard bios for the P4 and the extent is discovered by heat buildup, and stability (artifacting aswell for the card)
DavidJL Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 I agree that ATI tool is great for OCing that vid card. BTW, is that card a VIVO? If so, I would flash it to an XT to open up those extra pipelines. I did it on my x800 pro and it has helped performance a lot.
twang^ Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Sorry... Vivo? It's a 256 Sapphire x800 PRO PCI-E card.
