Hienrich Jager Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 I am helping a friend install Win XP PRO on his SATA RAID config with his ASUS A7N8X motherboard using the onboard RAID chipset. Well our prob is that when we get to the part about needing to press F6 to install any special drivers, we don't have that floppy with the proper drivers. If anyone out there has those drivers or knows where to get them we would greatly appreciate it. Thx Hienrich

ccokeman Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Asus's web site pretty much has all the drivers you will need.
Hienrich Jager Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Well you see... That is what i thought as well, but XP doesn't like any of those drivers that i present it with. It says that i am missing a .config file or something like that. Basically what i need is an exact clone from someone's floppy that came with their board. Guest FxXP Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 There is no reason why it should not work, unless your floppy is bad.
Dasterdly Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 I have that board and the SATA drivers are on the CD. Open up the CD and look under drivers, and click on the RAID Drivers and it will tell you which files to copy to the floppy. Hienrich Jager Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Yes, that is the problem exactly, i don't have the cd. I bought this board from a college buddy, but he didn't have the CD. Dasterdly, if you could pm me and we could try to figure out a way to link up that would be awsome. Hienrich
