Iceroid7 Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 My favorite is Palm OS, because of many reasons including: better battery life, higher res screen than most PPC competitors, simpler interface, less buggy, smaller programs, better memory management, CHEAPER. martymcfly Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 I am a ppc fan. more functional interface, compatible with many windows files, dont have to use stupid (IMO) palm desktop-ish software, better screens, etc.
Iceroid7 Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 one of the few major advantages that i see in windows mobile is the fact that you can put any kind of file onto the built in ram instead of converting it first on palm os.
swifty11212 Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 the new palm pda use a different type of memory. when the battery dies, the data remains there untill u delete it.

Dtaylor Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Yeah, windows mobile is the best. I can't afford it though. I use a cassiopeia PDA with pocket viewer software installed.
