So get the one with NCQ?

That really makes no since, the one with less features costs more. Damm.

I just relized i spelled sense like since, wrong word. Lol

i read a review somewhere and it showed NCQ making a measureable difference in transfers, much faster, but i want to say your mobo or IDE controller or something had to support it to work

The link that camaro posted (if anyone read it) actually seemed to suggest that NCQ slows the drive down in a single user application environment. It does speed things up considerably when there are lots of random multi-users I/O functions though (in web servers and the like).

SO... just get the one with NCQ and if your mobo supports it (nf4 but not nf3 from what the article says) try it with and without it enabled to see if it makes a difference.
