Install Ganglia On Overclockix

I recently tried to install Ganglia on my LTSP 2.1 farm to monitor the hardware status of my clients. But I ran into some problems.

 

Using the command line the following happens:

 

root@4[knoppix]# rpm -ivh ganglia-3.0.1-1.src.rpm

1:ganglia ########################################### [100%]

 

But... was the app actually installed and where do i find it?

I looked in the various launch menus.

 

Using KPackage I get a message asking for a root password. Sense no root password is configured this won't work, This is Knoppix.

 

So basicly I want to install ganglia but can't make it work.
