94Camaro Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Looks a little suspicious. WEP cracking?
meeeeee Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 (edited) It was originally created because we wanted to see how secure are wep was after reading various articles about ways to break wep and we later added other algorithms we though could be useful. We are currently using a sha-1 finger print for beta testing, one of the reasons we are using a sha-1 finger print is that since it is only a finger print results are found more ofthen and this makes it easier to anylise how the server and clients handel this situation. More information about the current project are available on the project status page. If you have any suggestions of other algorithms that we should add let us know. I assure you none of this is illegal Edited May 12, 2005 by meeeeee
CmpFreak88 Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 Sounds like something out of the Dan Brown book, Digital Fortress, except that was all one machine. Is this by any chance illegal?
meeeeee Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 As I have stated earlier it is in no way illegal. What were doing is basically building a super computer, the most ghz we have had running at once is currently 14ghz and none of the tasks we are using this experimental super computer for are illegal all details about the task currently at had are available in the project status page. I have noticed that many of you are dl the other tools on are web site You are welcome to do so, but not many are participating in the beta testing I would greatly appreciate it if u did
