This is a two parter.

1. Is there a way to run cpuz on linux, or is there a simmilar app for linux? Wine had a fit whenI tried it.

2. What temprature monitoring apps are there for linux? Can they run in an ssh window?

I'm asking because my new 3.0e is 185F according to the bios and I want to keep tabs on the tempratores of my diskless clients.

THX all

I recommend enabling lm_sensors to use the onboard "sensor". Then you will need something to poll the output. There are some nifty scripts that can throw it into an RRDtool/MRTG graph...

However, if you're looking at monitoring the entire status of a cluster, look into ganglia.sf.net
