Just thought that it was odd that with 2 of my video games halo and act of war direct action if you turn on the folding program and then go into both of those games it takes you out of the game and minimizes to the task bar and it keeps doing it. But if you turn off [email protected] the game works again. Anyone know why?

I wouldn't suggest gaming and folding at the same time. just my own opinion.

One of the biggest reasons I still fold is because it doesn't get in my way. If I had to turn it off whenever I wanted to play a games, then start it back up again when I finished playing, well.. i'm bloody lazy, so if I had to do that I would probably be very annoyed with it and would have stopped a very long time ago.

Try running it as a service. I'm 99% sure that'll solve your problem.

just turn folding off if it's a problem, it's not like you'll get much folding work done while gaming anyway

Folding Using 100percent  of your cpu, lets say u play far cry, prolly uses 40 percent of cpu  but folding would use your cpu to the max, so that 60 other percent would be folding, therefore it lags.

Funny how I went through the WHOLE game with folding running and never lagged once.

Folding uses idle CPU cycles. Unless you specifically set it's priority higher than the default, [email protected] will always give up CPU time for other apps.
