Ibby Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 Hello people, Im testing an overclock tonight. I have an XP2000 processor - not unlocked. also 512mb of crucial ram, an epox 8kha+ Iam also using a crappy 350watt PSU, I am overclocking with the FSB, results are 145x12.5= 1823mhz voltage on full in the BIOS, and Those tempratures were rising quickly, but stable now at 55c to 60c depending if the pc is idle or underload. at 153x12.5 My PC posts are refuses to go into windows, sticks on the detecting IDE stuff. lowering the fsb to 152x12.5 the pc goes into windows but then crashes out with a blue screen. - Is that becuase i dont have enough volts. I will be unlocking my multiplayer on my CPU in the next week or so, What do u think - have i maxed my CPU, or is some thing else stopping it going higher. DimensioN Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 mhz, i hat same thing if i putted the voltage 0.050 higher, it would start windows, it just rebooted, when it lowerd the voltage, it went back normal, and started normal, even when the mhz were just as high, so i think you have to lower the voltage, why give it more voltage, if it still runs stable try it, it could be that it's different with intel( i have intel). greetz
