swifty11212 Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 ok, i need ram that supports the 1T command line, theres this Geil here http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetai...ctCode=85002-14 and then theres this corsair http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetai...ctCode=80097-15 and this one as well http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetai...ctCode=80097-80 . im thinking of going with the corsair xpert, due to 2-2-2-5 support, 1T command line support and the led comes in quite handy for reading volts and speed. the higher rated ddr dont seem to support low latencies. Nerm Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 I would recommend getting the Gskill LE or LA revisions
swifty11212 Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 if the ram doesnt support the 1t command line, i wouldnt look to purchase it unless 1t doesnt do crap for performance( in my case, 1t (unstable) makes a big difference in speed). im going for the corsair ones. Nerm Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 1T does make a big difference in performance and yes gskill will run 1T. hell I have had mine to 290mhz 2.5-3-3-7, 1T lol and the ram still isn't maxed out.
Byron Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 I can take my 2x256 g.skill LE to 330 2.5-4-3-7 1t and to 285/290 with 2.5-3-3-7 1t.
guzzidom Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I'm running 2-3-3-5 at 220 and 1T on no-name ram, I thought all pc3200 would run stably at 1T rate, obviously not
