Internet-dial Up Connection

I have a dial-up internet connection at work... sometimes I work at home in the evenings and use this same account. I constantly get disconnected from this service because it says I have more than one user logged on to this account at the same time. This shouldn't happen as I'm the only one with the user name & password to this account. However, my question is... Is there a way an ISP can tell what IP address or MAC address is being used during these sessions? And #2 - is there a way to set a priority so that I can be assured to using our account without these interruptions? Thanks

Your service provider knows when you are on and how fast you are running! A very scary thought in my opinion because it brings the question, do they have the ablility to monitor what you are looking at? I would suggest calling your provider and asking wtf. Dial-up is kinda stupid though so your error might only be that your internet was dropped. I can get up to 3 diffrent errors for the same problem on dial up so I know its not very consistant.
