Hailstorm Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Ok, here's what I did. I have a ASUS P4B533. Now, that runs at 533. Well, I put a 2.6 P4 800 in it. It runs pretty well. Now, I up'd the FSB and I can reach 2.3. But, when I go above this. I get unstable. I am running PC3200 in it as well. I tried to switch from 1.1 to 4.3 (3.4 or what ever 8-p) But, it will hang when I crank on it more. this is just a toy right now and would like to see how high I can go and be stable. I do have a another MOBO coming. But, I wanted to play Anyone have ideas on how to increase it higher? I no this board overclocks like crazy. If I recall right. my voltage for the CPU is 1.525. Maybe I'll take it up when I get off work. Oh, and temps are fine. Just tossing ideas around. Thanks for any help
r_target Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I don't really know that motherboard, but I would guess that it may not be able to handle the high FSB.
