drago Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 ok... ive been looking at the dfi lanparty nf4 sli-dr reviews * i currently have this board* but my rig isnt complete, anyway my question is "will the graphics card go over the top off the chipset fan/ touch it" because it looks like the fan is to high.. does any1 here have this board? if so tell me if it hits the fan and ways solve this. thx in advanced
Kash Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 My roommate recently completed his build with that mobo. He bought a X800XL and it fits perfectly over the chipset fan. The only way I see how there would be an obstruction is if you added a HUGE aftermarket cooler for your video card (usually the fanless heatpipe designs)

confuzzedintelguy Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 ya it will sit right on top of it to the point where the card will touch the cover but it dosnt stick up so high that you cant put a card in only one card have i seen with a issue with this board and it was a HIS X800 XT i think and it was just a part of the cooler that was causeing the issue a little sanding fixed it
