O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Check the motheboard manufacturer for RAM compatibility. You can use PC4000, but it will run at 3200 speeds--unless you are O/Cing. What is the rated timings/voltage of the RAM.
serv Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 the RAM Timings CL 2-3-3-8 (Default) 2.6V but i know this memory can go to: CL 2-2-2-8 (3.3V) << but i know my MOBO dont support that level of voltage, only the DFI LANParty nF4 SLI-DR does.. hmmmm if this helps this is the mobo: MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum altho i aint ordered this board yet
mikey390 Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 CL 2-2-2-8 (3.3V) << but i know my MOBO dont support that level of voltage, only the DFI LANParty nF4 SLI-DR does.. 460060[/snapback] OCZ DDR Booster will allow you to get that extra voltage on other boards. also take a look at this review. they used the MSI K8N Neo2 for some of their test.
