Gmail...just Got Bigger!

i bet they could go as far as they want!!! i mean its google were talking about they have the money and the support to do this dont they???

I'm sure they do. I do notice that the counter has slowed down though. Yesterday the number in the hundredths place was increasing at about one per second, making it about 100 seconds for each MB increase. It's much slower now.

 

So, I'm guessing it will probably level off around 2100. Bets anyone? :)

there is a program called gmail drive thats makes your gmail account into an online network drive, it even puts it into the "my computer" thing I use it and it works well. going to have about have filled once uploading is done. you can put anything in this drive, ANYTHING! gmail drive

I believe it because guys, you're forgetting that they're 100% right about it being their 1-year bday.  If you remember, april fools day last year was when they announced gmail and you all couldn't believe it then....well it was true, so I have no doubt this is too.

hehe, I hope 10 years down the road they pull gmail and just leave a big "APRIL FOOLS" on gmail.google.com........... with a laughing monkey...

It's still growing... from the speed of the ticker, I'd say by this time next year, we'll be around 4-5G of storage. That is if everything continues at the current pace.
