lldrew Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 alright, im wondering if i should get a water cooling system. Right now with my swiftech mcx462+ with vantec tornado, with an atholon xp 2000+ oc'd to 1.88 ghz with the vcore raised up a little, im getting idle temps of 39, 38, sometimes 37. With load temps never going above 45. So would watercooling really be worth it. What kind of temps would i get with an innovatek? Ronin Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 wouldnt be worth it to me....however you're asking the wrong group of people. Everyone will tell you to get it. I would spend it on my girlfriend...errr...wait, I dont have a girlfriend, just go ahead and get watercooling.

ATI Radeon 8500 Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 Water cooling's nice and it should let you OC higher but it depends on if you want to spend money. If you want great cooling a peltier would be good with a water cooler.

Acid Storm Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 I would only take watercooling because it is quiet and looks very cool. It would be more efficiant to by better components then to overclock.
