davomroverclocker Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 I have fallen in love with the Thermaltake Highest Xaser III V2000+ Super Tower. It can be found here: http://www.thermaltake.com/products/xaser3...3/v2000plus.htm I need to know forum users honest opinions of this case. Also if anyone knows pricing and where I might pick one up in the UK ? Thanks all.

davomroverclocker Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 I tried the Where To Buy link, but it just comes up with an enquiry form (after clicking Europe). So I am now five days into waiting for a reply. Ho hum, I need a price, I want one !!!!!!!

Sol Posted January 13, 2003 Posted January 13, 2003 The features are very very cool. I'd hate to play the opposition though, but I really don't like how Thermaltake is written in big letters on it. I like a case to be blank personally, which leaves room for personalization.

djb5k Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 YEah I think most of the features could be DIY, so you could get an antec case and mod it to your own specs and write thermaltake on it if you really wanted too
Bosco Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 I Emailed them and they said: "The MSRP of the Xaser III V2000+ is $177.5 without PSU" -straight from HQ's of Thermaltake
DimensioN Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 I love it to, specialy the 7 casefans, and than the front "thermaltake" wich golws, or gives light. I really like it, but the problem is, ive bought my new pc, and case the 28 December, so i was 3 days to fast, now i have the XaserII , and i ll think i buy myself the new thermaltake they bring out in 2004 , cant wait to see that one *pwning* GREETZ
ATI Radeon 8500 Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 It's pretty cool wit hall of the features but as people have sad I don't like ThermalTake across the front, and for that price, you can get other cases that I honestly probably prefer. But the control panel and all of those fans really do add some great features to it. About buying it, you may try to look in the modding store pinned post in the modding forum. I'll check those sites and update this post. Edit - I checked all of the sites in the modding section and bit-tech.net may have had Xaser IIs. On the other hand overclockingstore.co.uk had plenty of aluminum cases, but no ThermalTakes. Your best option is probably to wait for the Xaser IIIs to be out for a little while and some store should start stocking them. Lastly you may want to put in a special inquiry to some U.S. stores asking if they will ship to the U.K.
