Pc Locks Up When Attempting To Run 3d

no kidding, anyone who recommends one of those cards should honestly be shot. my 9200 pci beats a fricking fx5800 image wise hands down. uuuh dont remind me how bad they were.

i dont run pcix so thats outta the question

 

im also gonna contact ati directly with the problem im experiencing

I,ve tried all that davidst really nothing works and i dont have the same motherboard he has, but as stated above i had the same problem.

So it's really something with the video card, only god aherm! ATI knows what it is :P

ok, after wondering what to do before blowing $100+

i went to ATIs webpage and downloaded a new driver and the ATI Catalyst software

this somehow made everything back to normal

 

currently the card is working awesome, but i am still going to look into a new card

Maybe your temps are a bit to high, even if your not OC'ing

what are you talking about?

 

the problem was fixed with an updated driver and my temps are always low

 

cpu never goes past 40*c under 100% load

case is pretty much open

1 120mm in front 1 90mm on cpu 1 50mm on vpu 2 40mm on ram 1 90mm on rear of case 1 80mm on psu

 

zalman coolers all around

artic silver paste anywhere possible
