Did you get your ideas down on paper before going straight to the computer? I know it sounds strange but planning things on paper is a good way to start, you can come up with ideas quickly and refine them easily. Go around looking at sites you like for inspiration.. get a look down that you really want, then go about getting it onto the computer.
