frictionboy Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 yeah, my old comp did that, and then it commited suicide (i think i touched somthin inside i wasn't supposed to)  Just spit in the back and give it a wack  that should work, but i claim no responsibility if that hurts it more  Hey, by the way, how do you like that msi 4200 anyway? xpandapuss Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 First try to reinstall 3DMark [even with a newer download].... If that doesn't work, reset CMOS....
Ronin Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 I agree with xpandapuss  make sure you're downloading the actual app not a patch or antyhing...
smeghead009 Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 get the 42.02 drivers there the best ive found for the MSI 4200, then go ahead and reinstal 3Dmark  P.S. - the MSI TI4200 kicks ., although ive never owned any other Geforce4s, but it mops the floor with my Geforce 2 Mx400 and my friends Raedeon 7500 pro

ATI Radeon 8500 Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Yeah MXes don't compare to the Tis justa huge quality gap. My friend keeps getting downgraded by the company who built his comp cuz he keeps breaking his video cards by unbelievably stupid things. But originally they said they would give him a GF4 MX440 but they gave him a GF2 MX400. Now he finally got the MX440 a month later, broke it, and now they are giving him a 420.
