d3bruts1d Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 Well... it's pretty simple... Go into your system BIOS (f1, delete, f2, enter, space, or another key combo).. Locate the FSB setting, and increase it. Don't attempt to take it all the way at once. Go slowly. 5-10MHz at a time. Test it, and if it works, give it some more... if it doesn't, you can either lower the FSB back down, or increase the vcore. Also, keep an eye on the temp.. don't let it get to hot. choiboy Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 my problem is i can't find either one of those - vcore , fsb or cpu votage in bios - only thing i can find is that cpu mhz thing - and i have a DFI CA61 Chipset Apollo Pro Plus 133A board - with celeron pen3 567mhz 483 ram. and i just set my jumpers to which i "THINK" its FSB to 100 - which the max i can go - and i didn't see my mhz change. anyone have any idea? i did mess around around with cpu host/pci clock - but it end up messing my comp - gota formats
Acid Storm Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 you should look for manual options. if you can increase the mhz, your probebly increasing the fsb. take small steps, and look how fast it is going with a program like sandra of wcpuid which you can find at www.download.com. if you read back in these forums you can find a lot of stuff.
