Intel 6xx Reviews

Recommended Posts

Hey, I just got done reading a few reviews of the intel 6xx processors that are 64 bit eneabled. It seems like Intel has kept their strategy of making bigger (almost useless) features that make the processor look better. They packed their core with 2mb l2 cache, and from anandtech's review, there are very few programs that actually benefit from it. This increase in l2 cache also brought down their performance in other categories due to a 17% slower access times to data on in the cache (HA!) Basically to sum it up, it tells that amd-64 processors stand up very strong/ if not better (depending on the test) compared to the intel-6xx processors. One funny this is that in gaming, ALmost EVERY and processor tested (3000+ to fx55) tests better than the intel 6xx line! This is a ll I can write for now, but I am sure i'll make fun of intel a little bit later.

All I got to say is I am an intel man, but I am fully aware that amd blows intel out of the water when it comes to gaming. Intel is more corperate hince the higher prices where as amd is slowing coming out of the slot as underdog and being put into more and more computers...

As for the intel 64bit compatible processor, I was just looking at that on newegg and was like "intel makes 64 bit...?" but after reading that short yet insightful review I will most likely not ever thing about buying it again lol

And markiemrboo whats wrong with thermaltake?
