Two Video Cards?

I already have one monitor and one card, but now I want to use two monitors. Can I use two monitors with two PCI video cards? I already have one card, just want to know if two cards will work or if I'll have to get one card that supports two monitors.

I have a single card right now for my monitor and just wanted to get another card for another monitor.

if your card has a dvi and vga port then check if it can run dual monitors on its own. you would just need to get a dvi to vga converter if they are both vga. thats what i did

My card has both, but I want to use DVI for both monitors. Before I go out and get another card, I wanted to make sure that it's possible to use two, one for each monitor.

I don't think you can use an AGP and a PCI graphics card at the same time.

youve got PCI-e why dont you just get a PCI-e card with dual DVI and get some DVI > VGA adapters???
