cchalogamer Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Well after gettign my 3000+ skt 939 runnign today i decided to take the shuttle's 2.66 and put it in my laptop since my laptop supports the 533 FSB and it had a normal desktop celly in it to start with. The thign is idk exactly how hot the thing is running now...Speedfan seems to be acting up and nto updating temps properly. cchalogamer Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Well Idk how it happened (well i have a theory) but my temps went from 68C when i 1st got ti up and runnign to about 50C now, better than waht the celly was running. And no it didnt reseat the heatsink. I hope this clears up any misconception about laptops not being upgradable, its just not always a sure thing that it will work....
