posey Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 It's the Tualatin core and IF your motherboard doesn't support a Tualatin then NO.

bishop245 Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 quote from compaq tech. It appears that you want to know if you can put a 1.3GHz Celeron processor in your Presario 5BW250. The Presario 5BW250 comes with 700 MHz Intel Celeron (Coppermine)and can be upgraded to 1133 MHz Intel PIII. You can also upgrade to 1.3GHz Celeron processor. as you can see he/she/it/they didn't bother to say lol
posey Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 Maybe ask them about a 1.3 celeron with a Tulatin core not a coppermine, as the 1.1Ghz was the last model of the coppermine celeron. And the 1133Mhz PIII was the last model of the copermine PIII. The Tulatin core on the celeron starts a 1Ghz and on the PIII it starts at the 1Ghz model as well. Both have an overlap of speeds durring the transition from coppermine to Tulatin.
