DevilMB3017 Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 I don't want to post all the ones to stay away from, so here are what I think are the "better" mobo makers:  Abit Asus Gigabyte Soyo   They all have nice stuff, and I would rate them the way they are right there. Abit has a lot of overclocking features, and Asus has them on some boards. Gigabyte is a little behind with the KT400 chipsets then the others, but still has some nice features. Soyo is kinda just there, they're not good, but not bad either.  SiS chipsets are also a good idea to stay away from.
vyroburn Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 Stay away from, Â Shuttle Epox Aopen stuff that sounds cheesy
Bassdude1000 Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 actually some friends of mine both have the ecs k7s5a, with sis chipset, and they have the most stable and well-running comps around. Just don't go for a mobo under 80 bucks unless you've read reviews. Also, don't forget resellerratings.com for buying off pricewatch.
