Looking To Buy Water Cooling Kit For P4

Ok I just built a new system and i am moddin it. Got a 9700 Pro A-I-W got pictures of the work and will be up asap.

But its missing something.

WATERCOOLING!

Ok here is the thing. I want the GOOD STUFF!

So I have danger den in mind. Block, pump, resivoir, black ice extreme.

Is there something better i can get elsewhere? How is Swiftech? Of course noise is not a factor. Space is though. I have a chieftec case identical to the 1040 antec series.

Of course i would like to expand the system eventually and add pelt and such in the future.

Oh and i was wondering what about using the Black Ice Micro? Is that any good? pumps out almost 1000 BTU and the extreme is 3000.

Another question is the affect of having 2 black ice micro flowing from one to the other instead of one.

Another Idea that just hit me. The pump i am getting is 350 GPH at 0 height. if i decided to coo the chipset. would it be better to split the water coming from the pump to so cool water hits the proc and the chip instead of hot water coming off the proc then going to the chipest?

Its an idea.

Ok, Im a newb to watercooling but i got air down pact ;)

Oh any info on TECs, yes no maybe. and where to get a cold plate for underneath.

If your looking for the best water cooling kit on the market today that would go to the guys over at Innovatek with their set 3 kit for P4 which can be purchased here at Directron for 255 bucks http://www.directron.com/innovaset3.html

Now if you have a lot of money to burn on cooling then I would go for a system that would be more worth your while. While water is good in both cooling your processor better and keeping system temps low the best solution would be compressor cooling which can bring cpu temps down to

-52 degrees celsius which is called the Prometeia. If you have not heard of it yet here is a full review on it http://www6.tomshardware.com/howto/20021230/index.html

and here is where you can buy it http://www.hardwaregods.net/

now it is a hefty price tag for 600 bucks but if you think about you might decrease things a little more by going to water but nothing as much as this beuty does. Hope that helps you bro. I currently use the Koolance EXOS system because it is super portable and is all contained and very very easy to assemble and transport. I also use a home system where I plug into a freezer and rap 50' of cord inside an ice box with 50% anti-freeze and 50% water and that chills it down nice and cool. The Koolance EXOS is 260 bucks as well so its kinda up to you. its hard to tranport all the other systems except the Koolance. Heres a link to that one as well http://koolance.com/products/product.html?code=EXT-A01

Hope that helped,

LD
