cold_snipe Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 this might not help, but try to mess around with the monitor in device manager, ie. install different drivers, and try to find your own. If yours isnt there, mine sometimes worked with a different monitor (I had kinda the same error as you). Also on of my friends had the same error, but all he had was he had like 5 TVs added as monitors in device manager, if you have any of those remove them. iuno.. cold_snipe Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 BloodySunday, he reformatted his drive, so it's not an issue with WoW. Fire, you should also try to get a config as close to what you had before WoW as you can. Atleast you can still fold on 1024
Fireonice Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 but see i can use the resolution that i want untill i install nvidia's drivers..... i think WoW might have killed soemthing or uhh idk.... iv tried so many drivers too this is just driving insain... i just think that this is a bunch of bs that this is like this.... <_< i was hoping that i was not the only person with this kind of problem
James61 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 (edited) Maybe try the Omega drivers? see if that does anything Also under device manager > View > Show hidden devices and make sure there isn't something stupid like a duplicated graphic card. monitor or something causing it, could also maybe try update the driver change it to generic VGA adaptor.... reboot and let it reinstall the drivers? Just a few suggestions..... *Edit* Also make sure that if you've plugged another PnP monitor into it that it hasn't changed the driver and not changed it back, also make sure you havn't got the tv out connected to an active device while booting...
