DevilMB3017 Posted December 28, 2002 Posted December 28, 2002 Yes, Corsair is a very good overclocking RAM maker. As is Samsung, XtremeDDR, among others.

soccrstar Posted December 28, 2002 Posted December 28, 2002 k thanx is it backwards compatible would it work with my KT400 board (gigabyte 7vaxp)?
isaac_calvo Posted December 28, 2002 Posted December 28, 2002 is the Corsair XMS3500 basically a pc 3200? correct me if I am wrong cause if it is would that work on a SOYO dragon kt400 ultra? or anything that accepct ddr400?
vyroburn Posted December 28, 2002 Posted December 28, 2002 yes the DDR 3500 would work in your 400ddr machine but if your board is compatible for memory bandwidth of 433 that is ddr 3500, if you buy ddr 3500 you can overclocker your memory and get better memory bandwidth even if you only have a ddr 400 board, and to answer your question it is backwards compatible
ATI Radeon 8500 Posted December 28, 2002 Posted December 28, 2002 Yeah Corsair is one of the best brands and that is their top of the line RAM. I think TwinMOS or some brand like that uses faster memory for their RAM chips. I think that most 3500 is the same as the 3200 though so the TwinMOS may be a bit faster. I'm not quite sure on the name of the brand though but I think it is TwinMOS. Samsung and Xtreme are good brands too, though.
