Nerm Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 lol poor red! 22 stitches? how in the heck did you manage to cut yourself that good? My day started off fun too. I come into work and there is a PC sitting there that a customer had just taken home a few days ago, and the service rep goes "well the customer says it won't work now and she thinks you did something to it" haha anywayz I take it back and hook it up and what a surprise the HD is formated and the system setup disk is in the cd-rom. I call the lady and tell her that she has formatted her HD and that I will have to have all her installation disks to put everthing back on. she goes "I didn't do it you must have done it when you replaced the video card the other day" grrrrr I hate stupid people. lol
Kash Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Dude, 22 STITCHES? Wat the hell were you doin, RUBBING your hand against every possible corner to see if you could cut your hand on it? Plus, I always though Lian Li cases were supposed to be user friendly and designed so that you COULDN'T cut yourself.
asus Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 well.. it depends on what lain li case your using..
bigred Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 ya know that little plastic strip that goes over the case behind the optical drives? someone removed it. I picked it up... it slid across my palm just below the first joint. it sounded like a dang zipper. of course it's the EXACT same thing I did 4 yrs ago at compusa to my other hand... 31 stitches that time. bigred Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 ya know you would think you would learn after the first time lol j/k 410749[/snapback] yeah, I've hated lian li and all of the copy cat case since then. this thing was actually being torn down because the case SUCKS and we're not going to use it (chenbro gets the nod for the new gaming rigs). Kash Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Personally, I don't see what's so special about Lian Li cases. Sure, they look sleek, but that's about it, and I don't think that justifies their OBSCENE prices. I personally like my Silverstone case. It looks nice (auto paint finish) and it has every feature I could ever need. The CoolerMaster Wave Master is also a nice looking case, along with the TT Tsunami, both of which cost MUCH less than Lian Li cases (Try finding a Lian Li case with a side window and a door for anything less than $150)
bigred Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 lian li cases are CHEAP! we were looking into using them over the chenbro because they were under $50 each and the chenbro were $52 when purchased in lots of 100. if you're paying $150 for a cheezy arsed lian li then the vendor is taking a HUGE cut (though the usual mark up for a case is in the ball park of 70-80% of the original cost). Kamikaze_Badger Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 http://www.xoxide.com/lianli2.html Hmmm... I've known Xoxide to be expensive sometimes, but...
