fire_storm Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 I have a dell inspiron 1100 and I can t created a new connetion or set up a new network. The laptop internet works but I don t understand why the internet works if there is no connection present in the (Network connections) of windows. I also can not get my wirless-b card working I installed it and the drivers were sucess full but that little icon showing wireless networks does not come up. Any ideas? Edit: got the wirless - B to work but it only works for about a minute and then disconect from the network. I can t reconect to the network because the the (connect buttom in the linksys software is gray which means it that windows is controling the wireless profiles) Can t figure out how to turn off windows control of wireless profiles.
