hardnrg Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 custom kit imported from the states... the pound is the strongest it's been against the dollar that i've ever seen in my life... even with shipping and getting nailed with customs (sometimes you get away with not having to pay it) it's still cheaper than buying from the UK... 150 quid is about 280 dollars atm... so you do the maths on that one.... the Asetek Waterchill Antarctica 120 is a decent all-in-one kit option mostly because the block is so good... http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=123969&view=detailed 140 squid for that one... DarkScorpion Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 ^ Wayyyy off topic i dont know what they got in the UK but I DO know they have the Asetek Waterchill kits. That, IMO, is better than anything thermaltake has put out. Its ALOT more upgradable than the bigwater, and Im pretty sure it cools alot better. yatstv Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 yeah, does look good, sept i dont have any room for a 120mm rad, its got to be 80mm, that why im likeing the look of the coolermaster aquagate, cools better than the aquarius 3, ive been readin reviews, i dont want to be taking everything out the case so i can cut holes in my xaser 3, but if i have to! thanx for your advice so far, anyone know any good us sites i could order from in the uk? DarkScorpion Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Swiftech and blackice both make 80mm rads that can be mounted where 80mm fans go. Although not very good compared to 120mm rads, 2 of em are and can be easily mounted.

yatstv Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 ok, ive been having a good look, and i realy cant get a water setup imternally. i have a xaser III case and a lot of bits inside and i realy dont have the room, or can u get a rad inside as it has nowhere for it to go, it realy is a naff case if u want a water setup! ive made a descision to either have the zalman reserator, or the coolermaster aquagate, wich ones do u think would be best on a amd 64 3500winnie? thanx all
The_WRATH Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 if your going for no noise, get the zalman cooler, very very low noise
