bigred Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 lowest I could get an athlon 64 notebook for would be $1200 that's a 3000+, 512mb, 9700 mobile w/ 128mb, 60gb drive, dvd burner, 15.4" screen, wifi, and xp home. so it's not a bad laptop... just still out of the price range. LAPTOP these things are great for on the road. but if you want to get both buy a cheaper laptop now and save a little more to get the desktop you want. The other obvious option is to save a little more b4 u do anything and get a niceer slightly more expensive laptop. And as for that "labtop" thing he does that in ANY thread where laptops are mentioned then usually post something after it like it was some startling revilation as to the spelling of the word laptop.....I think he does it just so he has an excuse to post another crappy comment Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
