Ok guys I want a opinion on my new watercooling setup I just bought the Swiftech H2O-80 rev.3 Liquid Kooling Kit with the Swiftech MCW6000-64 waterblock and MCW-50 gpu cooler?

Is this a good water kooling system for a first time , also will it last too?

And are the temps good that im showing?

My temps before and after.

old new

Idle 37c ------ 30c-32c

Load(while folding)

57c-61c --------- 45c-47c

Also for my cooling solution i'm using HydrX coolant and I added some Rubbing acohual ,and some extra antifrezze..

and heres a pic , will get case pics soon still need a dang Digital Camera!!!

If you also have any other suggestions please let me know.

nice! i am just days away from getting my first h2o kit

how much did it affect your gpu temps?

is that a 1/2" system or 3/8"?

is your radiator mounted in or out of the case? i have heard that can make a big difference

do you just have the one 80mm fan on the radiator or two in a push pull config? have heard adding the second fan works well

i hope to see a drastic drop in temps too

thanks for posting your results

oh man it made a big difference I see a major improvement never or 45c on video card

Oh yea 1/2" tubing I was going to get Thermaltake Big Water Kit but is was only 5/16" tubing and u couldn't add a gpu block to the kit.

I have the raditor in the case and I posted outside made no difference here .

Im going to dremel the 80mm cover gaurd off and put the a 80mm behind it out side the case.

no prob let me know what temps u get..

his has the 80mm rad/fan, i was wondering about the difference between the 80mm rads and the 120mm rads as far as temps, my danger den kit will have a 120mm rad, hoping it will be lower than that since it has a bigger rad/fan

people always say, the bigger, or more, the better

a 120mm rad has more coils and fins to cooler off the coolant more

Ditch the extras. the hydrx has the chemicals in it to stop growth and corrosion.
