markiemrboo Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Pehaps just delete the 'work' folder under the folding@home directory? I appear to be having big problems with these new big 600pt work units *cries*

markiemrboo Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 it should make a new work folder itself and get a new work unit I think. Just rename it to like 'work_old' if in doubt If you see it get a new work unit... then delete the work_old folder! If it throws up and goes all wrong just rename work_old back to work

Obviously, you'll lose any work units that haven't been sent back yet.
Verran Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 I've had this same problem twice in the last few weeks. Stuck on a certain frame... CPU at 100%... I ended up exiting fah, deleting everything in the work folder, then restarting fah. It just downloaded a new WU and started over. Sucks to lose a WU that's half done, but it fixed my problem.
