Tron Case

Recommended Posts

For those who are familiar with tron....the movie/game, I'm doing a themed case. if you look in my profile atm, that's the case i will be working with. i've got 10 feet of red el wire already in there, in the 'tron' style, ya know, following corners, no curves, just right angles..etc. as you can see, i've got a window in the top with those crescent shapes. i hate it. wish i didn't do it in the first place. i plan on keeping the frosted plexi, and draw circuitry designs on the inside of the plexi with blue/red UV paint. i also plan on doing the UV paint mod on the mb....blue/red. i have a feeling this will turn out very well.

i'll have dual UV cathodes in there.

any other suggestions? i may have missed something.

i would, but there's really not much to follow. i've already 'modded' the case, i.e. aftermarked paint job :D windows, painted chassis, etc. only thing i could possibly post is the painting of the motherboard and the drawing of the frosted plexi. :P

You should get a blue tinted plexi window and have that one guy whos been posting about laser etching do some etching in a circuit board style. It would be like the guy's uniform in the second pic.

right, but i'm seeing if i can do this under a budget of $30 just to show that low-budget mods can still look awesome. that might come later, although that would look incredibly sweet.
