ibelevnf8 Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 When you go to the hardware store...preferrably Home Depot Just ask where there dremel supplies are... look for the model number. I think that a really good one for side panels has a number like 426. It should be at the top of the package. Keep some small ones to do curves and such. But the heavy duty blades will cut for a while. You can make turns with the heavy duty blades but it could get bogged and just shatter on you. Hope that helps you a little bit. Dazbo666 Posted December 20, 2002 Posted December 20, 2002 Yep, the standard disks are rubbish when it comes to cutting even the thinner case panels... the reinforced ones are MUCH better!! This is 1st I've heard about diamond tipped ones...?? Can you get them for a Dremel, or just for a disk cutter??
NyCUnDaGroUnD Posted December 20, 2002 Posted December 20, 2002 i was just looking thru the dremel site and i found a new piece that would kick asss for us in cutting things. Dremel Cutting
bass_freak Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 how fast the disk is moving will alsot effect its rate of wear...dont' use more speed then what you need..speed = heat...heat is what burns it up...alost let it cool off every few spaces and it will last longer also.
