itald3sign Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 Anyone know how to overclock PC1066 Rambus? I heard it can be overclock to run at PC1200 speed, and also what is exactly RDRAM/FSB frequency ratio? I have this option in my BIOS and it can be set to 3x 4x or auto. DevilMB3017 Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 Auto is a DEFINATE no-no. 3:4 is your best choice by all the tests I've done. You might want to up the voltage to help out some overclocking. You can lower all the timings slowly and see what happens. Read my guides to OCing, they have stuff about RAM in it...Read it Here! sicphreak Posted December 17, 2002 Posted December 17, 2002 its not gona make that much of a difference any way, so you can turn up the voltage and shorten the life and still not notice a difference, or you can just leave it alone.
