postalsid Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 Here's an Idea, I was reading about this guy who capitalized on lazer cooling which with lazer cooling you can get degrees of 11 kelvin and to put into perspective Liquid Nitrogen is 77 and the coolest day on the planet was 185 kelvin but anyways hook up lazer cooling into my case buy a northwood processor and overclock it to run 10.2 ghz that would be cool as hell
Ronin Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 dont think thats possible. Besides at a ceartin point the electrons start to slow down. If you were running at 15 kelvin, not only would your cpu be in a block of ice but if it wasnt it would be running slow because the electrons could barley move.
