mikeock Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 i do beleive that the company actually makes their own mouse "skates". I have never used this pad but the best one was that of the func 1030
ATI Radeon 8500 Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 I have used Funcs but I don't really like them. I think I may go with a Speedpad just because ti is cheaper, waterproof, easier to move since it's just plastic, plus everyone says Steelpads make annoying noises. Do you think I'll need mouse skates on a speedpad since I have an Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 which is already really smooth? mikeock Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 The speedpad company actually has a there own compund that they use for their pads i ahve 3 of the speed pads and they do function well but not as smooth as a func
ATI Radeon 8500 Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 Well I like the funcs, but I've noticed they're a bit sticky and that's what discourages me from getting one because I don't want that to happen if I'm scrimming in C-S. Edit - I'm not sure actually if I've used the 1030 but I think that is what i've used because the one I've used was an Alienware custom one. mikeock Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 my fUnc only sticks on the edge of the pad where it meets the base. It happens rarely but it is few and far between
mikeock Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 they do come with a cord clip though (the fUncs)
ATI Radeon 8500 Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 Yeah I saw that that looks good because I just went from wireless to wired (Sorry but the Intellimouse Explorer is so much l33ter than Logitechs) so when I get my cord stuck i'm always mad. But I think I'll just get one of the fUncs from Newegg do you think I shoulsd get black or orange/blue? Edit - I noticed the fUnc website and Newegg have different pictures of the pad, what does yours look like? fUnc Picture versus Newegg Picture
mikeock Posted May 3, 2003 Posted May 3, 2003 Ihave the blue and orange one. The black one is the same product, I bought a black one for my brother and they are exactly the same other than colors.
