Nerm Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 If they use HT and you only install one client then it only uses 50% of power anywayz.
Stachman31 Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 A good idea, might be to have her start with a small lab of like 10 pc's, and try it for a few weeks. And after seeing that there were no problems, gradually increase it. Maybe try to get the id switched to your school's name, so that eventually the administrators can say that they are part of the team that is no.1 in the world for folding, which will help find cures to diseases. BabyBalrog Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 THat would be nice, except they wouldn't be the number one team, several Teams have over 500 people.

Nemo Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Oh no not another one of those types of people 399345[/snapback] Yeah - sounds like she took the easy way out - instead of actually making a decision and a commitment, she just said 'no' without taking the time to understand what is involved. Nemo Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 It's good that you are still talking to her about it. Why don't you ask her for a list of her concerns? That way she has to answer you and then you can come back here to the forums and post them and we can come up with a list of talking points for you to use when responding. That way maybe we can get her to agree to let you try setting it up on a couple machines at least.
BabyBalrog Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Good idea Nemo, because there really isn't a reason not to fold, so we can put all the worries out of her mind.
