DarkScorpion Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 well, maybe because you're using an AQII is why it was so cheap. Wow, 21 idle, whats your load and ambient?
shmitty Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 So would it be better just to get like a XP-90 or something. I'm also thinkin about getting one of those heatpipe heatsinks.

hardnrg Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 i like to be able to move my computer if i want... like go to a lan... or take it on the bus/train round to a mate's for a little 1on1 deathmatch... Â with water i'd have to mess about draining and re-filling or worrying about it splashing about in-transit... Â got my 3200+ to 2.55 stable on air (stock vcore)... so i have faith in the power of air
shmitty Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 would a XP-120 fit on a MSI K8v neo2 plat 250gb ultra?
spectrascope Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 you likely incur some major interfearance from the ram slots
tbone2sk Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 If you go water it is better to go custom, and get the parts yourself. A good set would be 300+. I have a x-90 and a tornado and it is very nice. PS: Remember that there is always cold air benching.
slayer2cool Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 what's cold air benching??
shmitty Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 So with a xp-90 you would be able to put a tornado fan on without having to mod it to fit or would you have to mod it to fit the tornado.
Darken_Sun Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 No modding is necessary for them to work together. Just don't forget to pick up a fan controller
shmitty Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 why exactly is that
Darken_Sun Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I guess it depends on whether you can take it or not, but when I was at my friend's house for a LAN, the noise from the fan was driving him crazy, even from across the room.
