CmpFreak88 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 I was playing NFS:U2 a lot and I noticed the newer drivers made the game look really really blurry, the only drivers that didn't were the ATI Catalyst 4.10's, even the Omega 4.10 drivers messed it up... unless it's some setting I'm missing. hardnrg Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 i am scared of the 4.12 what if my cpmuter soesn't runmy mom would kill me in the highly unlikely event that your computer didn't load windows after installing a new graphics driver, you'd just boot up in safe mode and uninstall the driver / graphics card and then reboot and re-install the new one... i've never had this happen when upgrading graphics drivers... and i've been building computers since i was 13 (so 12 years)

I think if you force the AA and AF settings it does that. I had everything set to max once and went to play Diablo 2 and it looked horrible. darreljaeger83 Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 If ur worried about stability, go with the old drivers (Cat 4.7 or so)...they worked like a charm-although the performance is nothing near the 4.11 and 4.12 drivers. Silverfox Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 CATS all the way. latest if poss, or the july/august drivers if you are playing something a bit older and the newer drivers are causing (unlikely) probs.
