ccokeman Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Thermalright XP-90 would be a good choice. I just ordered an XP-120 for my p4 and will move it to the neo when i upgrade.
New_ButNot Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Thermalright Xp-90 . I don't think the xp-120 is compatible with the Neo2
ccokeman Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 They say its not ( XP120) but i have seen it installed and the bend on 1 cap loks to be pretty minimal so i'll have to try it. Otherwise ill get the XP90 for it. The 90 fits on all boards though.
GDubb56 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 thanks guys, about wat is a good price to look for for one of those? another question would be, do i need to buy a heat sink fan also? or what else would i need to buy
Byron Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Generally around $50 is thermalrights price.
GDubb56 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 also i was jus lookin around on some sites and i found monarchcomputers.com and they have pretty good prices, especially on the parts that ive been lookin at. And they have it to where theyll make u either a combo or a barebone kit w/ anything u want in it. barebones they charge like 18 dollars to build it but combos cost nothing. and theyll put together ur board and make sure it runs properly and everything before they send it to u. So u can just recieve everything pre tested. toss it in ur box and watch the wonders of modern day technology. anybody familliar w/ this? also the reason why i added this is b/c the only heatsinks that they have on their combos are thermaltake or the ones that come w/ ur retail chip.
