Marine Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 ok before ig to my newly built comp my computer reported to me through the post screen that it had a trend chip AwayVirus. The problem is after i reformatted both of the drives on it then it still tells me i have this virus. I have read somewhere that it could be an error with my BIOS antivirus but i want to know if there is a way to make sure because i wanted to hook my new comp and old one together but i am afraid of my new one getting the virus. My old comp doesn;t show any performance difference so idk. Any ideas? I have googled for it and come up with no results. MindDrive Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 ok what you do is totally disassemble your system - pull the battery out of it, then flash your bios after you put everything back together, format the hell out of your harddrives
