I'm trying to do a fresh install of XP the HD is formated and when I boot from the CD it loads some files then reboots and loads the files again then again it'll just keep going. If I make it load the HD first and trigger the bootable CD when it asks after it loads the files and reboots it says. Verifying DMI Pool Data ................ _ <<< Blinks forever It'll do this forever. I'm out of Ideas how to get the the setup to move on. BTW this is a new mobo and CPU. Thx for the help in advance. suchuwato Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 did that to me once... set all the boot options to cd-rom and then try again, if that doesn't work, thenn set the boot to cd-rom, hdd, floppy then try. the computer should reboot, then go into the second stage of the setup, but it's thinking that it hasn't done that yet so it tries again...
