yuanji Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 what is the best OCable P4? i've been looking at a couple, 2.4B, 2.4C, 2.6C. which one is the best overclocker? is there a better one i haven't mentioned?
airman Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 the 2.0A can get up pretty high....i've seen them around 3.2 or so also any northwood core with m0 stepping will own anything (if you can find them....virtually impossible). a 2.4c with m0 stepping can make it to about 3.6, and a 2.8c with m0 stepping can make it to about 3.8-4.0. crazy stuff
HomerJaySimpson Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Id say the 2.4C would be the best

yuanji Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 hmm... the 3.0C seems to OC pretty well also might be an option

GregP24 Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 I've got a 2.4B that is running at 3.6ghz on air. I'm sure that with a better mobo, I could get it higher. My MO stepping 2.4C ran up to 3.5ghz on air.
r_target Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 2.4c because of the lower multiplier and consequently higher front side bus.
Nerm Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 I think Nuc as a 3.0c that hit 4.4ghz doesn't he?
